I knew from the start, i loved you more than i should but you made me feel more than anyone could
there were warning signs i should have seen but you spoke such pretty words what did they mean?
you knew it all those times i was crying because of you you were trying to break me what did i ever do?
your confession rips my soul burns into my skin im reliving the pain again with each word of your sin
how you carefully let things slip only what you wanted me to know through the grapevine while fake love you kept for show
and now i hear your voice across the telephone nonchalant, almost effortless you stab me to the bone
you made me second guess myself what was it that i'd done? you made me resent my friends who warned me tell me, how could i have won?
you pretended that you loved me when you were trying to break my heart and i made it so easy for you since i was in love and blinded from the start

Any person whose ever been blinded by 'love' has definately related, and can relate to this. Lovely written, your words are etched with realism and true-to-life pain. The closing stanza is my favorite, because it wraps up everything so nicely and perfectly. Stellar write.
