Standing in the pouring rain I wonder, will I see you again I don't know this foreign terrain On my words my blood doth stain.
Sitting on the bridge of my end My heart, will it ever mend? Downward spirals, sorrow doth send Waiting in vain, just for a friend.
Bleeding through the crimson sheet So fierce and cold my heart doth beat As I walk alone this empty street Somehow feeling like a dirty cheat.
Waiting on 5th and Main Feeling like I'm on a chain Of your love, fighting in vain, For my heart cannot take this strain.
You watch me bleed, not even a tear, You do not even see my fear There is no life left here Why should you care my dear?
My heart's gone cold and black as ice A little consideration might be nice But through my heart your words doth slice Hurt me once, hurt me twice.
I always end up coming back to you Even after all you put me through You'd think I would get a clue That all you care about is you.

This one totally blows my mind away. Indeed, the flow and rhyming is done exceptionally well, and is all wonderfully written... It's hard to pick but the last two stanzas are my favorite. Fantastic way of ending this- this is absolutely mesmorizing and captivating.

I sat here reading this over and over. It amazes me how I could feel this work in a place I try to hide away from the world. If you have read my works, you know I do not hide it that well. This made me feel a little less alone when I think of a certain time in my life. I will never really understand why we love when it hurts, but I am certain we will keep doing it.
Wonderfull wonderfull work! I truely look forward to reading more. Thank you!

I have to agree this is a wonderful piece and lots of people are shallow when it comes to "love" nice job

ooh, i enjoyed this so much! i like the control you held on the rhyme without sacrificing the message - it flowed very nicely.
