Darkness Caresses

Falling into terror,
Everything you fear,
your tender heart,
beats slower…
you fall lower,
Darkness caresses
your mangled body,
Scared and Lonely,
you fall away,
no one to come…
Fear surrounds
that tender heart that beats…
slower…and slower…
Breathing deeper,
and deeper,
You sit,
in the still…
cold…terrifying air,
waiting…
Forever and on,
your heart beats slower,
and slower still,
From behind you,
a sound…
The stilled air,
shifts…
You breathe deeper,
You heart beats slower still,
the darkness moves in,
closer…and closer…and closer,
till there is nothing to be seen,
You cry for help,
you make no sound,
You try to move
but you cant,
You are frozen,
Your distorted body
becomes faint in the mist,
You panic,
What is this,
A HAND…
reaching out of the darkness,
clasping your dead shoulder,
A noise…no wait,
an icy whisper,
in your frosty ear,
Telling you it is time,
time…for what?
Fear creeps up behind you,
the whisper now a scream,
telling you it is time,
You ask it for what,
but it becomes louder,
and louder,
That eternal silence ended,
and for an instance you find,
That the time has come,
for you fall down,
This was DEATH,
he pushes you,
you fall,
deeper into the black terror,
You disappear into nothing.
You are gone,
the darkness closes in to cover up,
the remains,
of the nothing you have become,
you are gone,
and nothing can save you from…
DEATH!!!
