hit the mirror
watch the shards fall
like crystalline
pick up the pieces
let them slice into my palms
make me crucified
itch, right below the skin
limping itself along my vein
I must let the itch out
it's getting poisoned
by my infected body.
let the itch free
with the shards of the mirror
drag, cut, sharpen,
jagged edge cut my skin.
cut my wrist wide open
show me my veins
let them all free
see the first few drops of life leave
its infested haven
these tears of sorrows are free
free from my poisoned body.
fascinated, I
watch it as it bleeds
it pulses at my touch
it cries those crimson tears
as they roll down my skin
it singes
it burns
moaning in pleasure.
why do I enjoy myself
as I watch it bleed?
the red drops
falling like dew-stricken rose petals
splashing on the ground.
each slice
is like some kind of intimate suicide
I die every time
I let these itches out
of my poisoned body
shrivel up
let the voices of my insides be free
let me die
knowing I let something free.
slice open my heart
let the crystal tears bleed onto me
let me feel the heat of my blood
as it sheds itself upon me
let me feel it beating
in my hands
as I die.
have I improved?
maybe I'm not ugly and poisoned anymore
am I beautiful yet?
my face might be fair once more, free of tearstreaks and sorrows...

let me just see my ugly face
in these broken bloody mirror shards
one more time.
