Behold the mists of time, tenuous yet solid,
obscuring the past and barring the future
from our feeble sight...
We can but barely perceive the present,
and yet we would dare disturb the fabric of
time and space to see more;
--even though such is beyond our comprehension...
And, in our sightless sight we conceive ourselves
as having dominion over all--
We, mere fleshy grubs crawling in the mud
and filth of our diminutive pebble,
caught in the present,
idolizing the past--
and fearing the formless future...
