our love was like a fairytale he swept me off my feet took me away off into the sunset upon his snow white stead
he kissed me like he loved me held me longer than he should there was warmth in his smile and care in his arms he saved me when no one else could
no longer was i a damsel in distress but now a princess in his arms as my knight in shinning armour he held me heart he won me over with his charms
but now i know the truth and believe me truth is pain there's no such thing as fairytales your prince is just a frog, it's always the same
the clock has struck midnight wake up sweetie, it was all a dream your dress is gone, and carraige too your prince is back in his magazine
and now it's like "us" never happened magic never leaves a trace but this scar on my heart since he left me wont let me forget his face
i loved him, i'll admitt it's true and i shall never love again because "happily ever after" doesn't exist it is simply just, the end.

Great job. I enjoyed this piece very much. It reminded me of my own fairytale that ended up a nightmare. As you can imagine, I have been fatally scarred by the demon called cupid as well. It took forever for me to realize that a story should stay just that.....fiction......

Tragic but true. As said, stories should remain just fiction, because too many people float away into those lovely fairytales only to crash back down into painful reality. Lovely worded; the message and emotion was heard and felt loud and clear.
