She holds the li'l girl's hand in hers squeezin' it tightly at the girl's slightest mistake never will she let go, only gets tighter every year she smiles at the li'l girl--demanding, stern the li'l girl only smiles back-- forced, fake, plastic she's built her own world full of lies call her crazy, like the li'l girl does whenever she laughs, covering the loathing in her eyes sometimes, you can see the flicker of red but then it'll just evanesce in a second Principle minded, her words should be the law Li'l girl only smiles, always fake, plastic and forced yet she doesn't know that everytime the li'l girl smiles a part of the li'l girl's heart dies and you can see it in the li'l girl's eyes unlike her, whose heart had withstand numerous earthquakes the girl's is fragile... almost dead, hanging on a thin thread almost falling into her world filled with lies won't someone save the li'l girl? won't someone please save me?

Very nicely written!! I truly enjoyed this piece. Having a small cousin that is going through a situation in her life right now that I know she cannot help nor understand, I can really relate to this piece. It saddens me to think about it really. I hate that children have to endure thier parent's stupidity. It's a crying shame that children must face the things that we bring down upon them.

whether accidental or consciously enacted, it happens and it pains. Wonderful write, the depth and emotions running about here, really grabbed my attention and ached me inwardly. Awesome poem, I could go on a long rampant rage about how sickly disgusted I am with these situations of unfairness for children but I'm not. Beautifully done, totally brings out real emotion.
