I used to be able to look into your eyes
And see someone nice & sweet,
Even someone who loved me.
You used to be so into books
And you always had times for us.
Now, it’s all video games
And we don’t seem to exist to you.
You were always the smartest
And the best behaved.
You’ve changed so much,
What happened to you?
You weren’t just my brother,
You were my role-model and hero.
Do you remember, when you told me,
You loved me and that I could always count on you?
I do and I’ll never forget...
Even though we’ve grown apart,
I know you’re still that nice & sweet guy
With the really big heart.
No matter what you do or where you go,

Very nice write CJ. I enjoyed the reality. Most great poems come from personal experiences. It is good that you can write of your brother in this manner. Sometimes my sister and I do not get along at all. Very nice write.
