Slowly swaying with the music
It keeps perfect time with us
I can hear loud noises
Softly playing in the background
But my attention’s aimed at you.
Your right hand is on my waist
And your left is gently gripping mine
Oh how they fit together!
It’s as if they are a puzzle
Only complete when our fingers
Are linked together
My left hand finds the perfect place
It rests naturally upon your shoulder.
I think my eyes are open
But I see you when they’re shut
Everybody leaves the room
Only we are left
I never want the moment to end,
But I fear that…
