Plan A is to forget you
And all your southern charm
Every time you smiled
From ear to ear
And the way we coulc sit
For hours without saying anything
And still have great communication.
Plan A is to forget the good times
Because to remember
Would break my heart
Into so many pieces
I could not pick them all up
To start over again.
Plan A is to forget us
Which is easy
Because there never was an, “Us.”
But we both know
That there could have been.
And no matter how hard it is
I will try until I fail
And then
I’ll try again.
And if Plan A does not work
I’ll move on to plan B.
Cry.
