The Car Ride
I went to town one day and seen this beautiful car. I knew that I had to have it. It's appearance just took
my breath away. Words could not describe the intense feeling that raged through my body as I seen it's power
as it sped by me. Inside it's fire red exterior sat an even more beautiful woman who seemed to call to me with her
eyes as she passed. I watched until she drove clean out of sight. That night I lay in bed and thought of her beauty
and the beauty of her magnificent car. What could someone do to obtain a car of that magnitude? Also, what could a guy
do to obtain the company of a woman like that? I searched the net to find that car but found absolutely nothing.
The color seemed to burn an image in my head. I searched all night but found nothing. The next day the phone rung.
It was my fiance calling from France. She was away on business and the appearance of that woman had driven out
her face from my mind. I felt such despair and remorse for the thoughts that came to my mind last night. It was killing me.
For the rest of the day I pushed every thought of the woman out of my head. I even had to turn down the picture of my fiance.
Her face just seemed to plague me even more. Why was I feeling this way? I thought that everything would be alright once I
left work but I was in for some surprise. I walked out the door and for my viewing pleasure, there she sat. The car engine was humming and her face seemed more beautiful than I remembered. It was as if the car's hum was her own voice calling for me to approach. I turned away and started walking but I couldn't help but look back. As soon as I looked back she was gone. Since she was gone I thought that I could forget about her for a while but, that just wasn't the way it would be. I went to my favorite bar and had a few drinks but nothing seemed to soothe my desire. I called my fiance to confess my obsession. Maybe since she loved me so much, she would forgive me and help me through it. I had never been this way before. It was confusing me. Her phone rang yet I received no answer. I called again time after time and got no answer. That night I got a call from a local number. I looked at it as my phone rang and tried to fathom who it could possibly be. Who could it be? I answered the phone to hear my fiance's voice. My first thought was, where are you to call me from a local number? But, I couldn't concentrate for the thought of the woman in the car. After the conversation I tried to call her cell phone but still got no answer. This was confusing me. The next day I seen her again. Driving down the street. It was odd that I had seen her for three days in a row. What was the odds? However, this time was different. She stopped and stepped out of the car. Her long legs and beautiful figure stunned me to no end. I couldn't even walk. I was frozen in my steps. She walked straight up to me and kissed me on the cheek. She said to me, Hello, I'm afraid that I have something to tell you. But, then she turned to walk away. Wait, I shouted. She walked to her car and opened the door. "Get in" she said. I did as she requested. After I got in the car she looked at me and said. "I am truly sorry." "I was sent to inform you that your life is not in order." I was confused by her words. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I will show you," she said. She started the engine and threw it into gear. "Hold on" she said. She then punched the gas and began to weave in and out of traffic. Her face lit up as she drove the car like a wild animal. The way she bit her top lip only made my desire grow for her. "Where are we going?" I asked. But, she said nothing. She only drove on as fast as she could. We arrived at a local hotel which had the number 555-6236 across the billboard. The number rang in my head. It was the number that ran across my caller ID when my fiance called last night. I looked to the drivers side to ask the lady her name but, she was gone. I looked out the window and there she stood at the hotel door. "Come on!" she shouted. I jumped out of the car and walked to her side. "Why are we here?" I asked. "Just stand by and watch," she replied. The door opened by itself and we walked inside. I turned to see the license plate on the car flash HEL666. I walked beside her until we came to a door. The door swung open and to my surprise sat my Fiance in the arms of another man. She leapt from his arms and ran to me. "I am so sorry," she said. I said nothing. Then the man stood to his feet and walked to the woman. "Alicia?" he inquired. "Yes, it is indeed me Rex," she replied. "But, your dead." "No" she said. "You only thought you killed me" She then opened her hand to reveal a single flame that in turn engulfed his entire body. He flipped and flopped around the room as the fire strangled the life from his being. Finally he was dead. I looked at my fiance with disgusts. The woman looked at me and nodded her head. She then took my hand and opened it wide. I could feel my hatred burning inside of me. Almost like fire in my bones. "How could you?'' I screamed. At that moment a flame flickered from my hand. I was unsure of what was going on but, I knew what I wanted to happen. The flame flickered high and engulfed her as well. I watched as she burned. Eventually she stopped flopping as the life left her body as well. I had noticed the necklace around the woman's neck. It's deep red appearance flickered as fire. Then I seen it clearer. I could see a face. It was the soul of the man I had just seen with my fiance. Her ex-husband who had smothered her in her sleep just the week before. "He thought that he would be happier with her," she said. "I heard them together and I knew I had to let you know." "You now belong to us," she added. I had once heard that when you let your hatred take over your entire being, then it will engulf you. Full release of your hatred would be like selling your soul to the devil. I had done just that. I looked down at my own necklace. My fiance's face flashed through it's eye. I was hurting for my loss but, I no longer felt love nor sorrow for her. Alicia was my new obsession. What would come of my life now? Nobody would know.
Now, I walk a different path. I'm happy with my new life. Alicia and I are very happy together. Also, I am more than happy with my new car. But, my boss,...... can be a real hot head.....HA HA HA HA HA
Wicked huh?
