Well the charcter in this song is dealing with issues we all deal with. I am sure that one time or another you have felt that if you believed something else, a lie, (in our own opinions of course) then you would be much happier. Ignorant, but happy.

I see your point. I have lived a lie for quite sometime but everything has cleared up and I can finally feel free to be myself. Althought living a lie is great at times I never really felt accepted because it just wasn't me....ya know what I mean?

Exactly, at times it seems that it would be so much easier, but you know better. As hard as things are, your actualy happier.

omg, i can really relate with this poem/lyrics...i really have to say that most people live and are still living a lie, some change...and dont stop living the lie...i believe in my heart that i stopped living the lie i was...i am focused on what i am...i am me...my own god...maker of my own fate...and i will suceed in life...I WILL. This poem was so awesome...and i couldnt have read it at a better time, to realize how far i have come, in discovering myself and my goals...thanks for writing it, and deciding to share it here.

, yah it was a great poem, and just helped me out...i have been writing poetry so much lately, i have lost like 8 of em, my da*n browser keeps shutting down...without posting...but i wont be deterred...romance, love, sex, and death, hate, and Religion, are my topics i normally choose, and i am either righting about pain and sorrow or love and happy...sometimes inbetween and confused...WRITING FOR THE POEMS...hmmm,but no one has asked me for a debate yet : /, i do so love a good one...anyone wanna challenge me, personally, off the forums, feel free too.
