Bigger things have come and swept you away
My sense of self on annual leave
I never aimed to be autonomy

In pictures I stand smiling
In a faraway Eden
The location I can't remember
Poisoned tendrils take hold
Now I am the background
Beware the ivy
A vision of beauty
Don't get too close

While your star has never shone so bright
I am at a standstill
Life passing by so fast
I scream silently
Until I am hoarse

When can I have a moment
To catch my breath?
The days have no names
I live a solitary life of the loneliest kind
I live to serve you
Flowers and chocolate will not placate me
Never have I encountered such
Insensitivity
I have nothing more to say to you
