There is a difference in rhytmn Between innocence and wisdom
When we are young we are naive As our eyes grow dark we finally concieve
That our love won't consume our hate We lye to ponder if this is everyones fate
To become so numb to all that surrounds To have a divinity to denounce
You aren't the twisted God to a lost generation today The one who can't answer the bitter questions we say
Here's another change to better tomorrow For a generation that feeds off the sorrow
A shadow to the prescence of another part of pain It's tragic to find a heart wanting to walk in the rain
They walk just to cover up the tears that rolled from their face Just to run away from the memories, the pain, and the unwanted disgrace
Here's another change to destroy tomorrow A change that will end the sorrow

oh broken, great write!
I loved the way you went from youth to age so eloquently; a frequent segue to my poems. This was filled with deep emotion; a lesson to live by, maybe?
