I feel an escape coming on
A time to run hide from all the day to day trials that walk up get in my face
To jump out of the race for a little while
Trees and running water are calling to me so clear To find a nice quiet stream somewhere far where the world cannot find me No people with their troubles begging for a touch of magic I no longer carry
Some peace of mind if only for a day Time to find myself where ever I am lost
Time to let myself grieve for the things left behind when I did not wish to leave them
Hours on end of the music the water makes as it walks slowly over rocks that have stood for a thousand years
To put into place a weary mind an aching soul
Just to let myself understand why people go away when they have just arrived
Why love can fall apart crumble into peices that no one tries to pick up
I could sit in this place until they find me years down the road only bones of a tired soul left to tell the tale
A small peice of paper to say here sits a man who time forgot

I had a great image...and the image was not shattered. I imagined myself running through a forest...towards a stream...where a big rock was, and me sitting on it...curled in a ball...crying. Your words didnt shatter this image...it cleared it up more. Very sad...but cool. I never got this clear of an image before from a poem...nicely done <<<i like this face te he
