And when the drops of dew moisten your skin, Do you think of me at all?

These legs are no longer strong enough, To carry me through the world, It's so hard to keep the inocence, Of a 14 year old girl,
Sometimes I think I should close my eyes, And wish it all away, All the pain and sickness in this life, Makes me wonder why I want to stay,
It was so easy when boys had cooties, And my worst fear was a bloody knee, When my greatest life ambition, Was to climb that apple tree,
Velvet fingers have turned to leather, From the work of a struggling soul, Deep eyes have grown weary, From watching this world grow cold.

You do have an interesting writing style. This one flowed a lot better, but a couple of lines still seemed forced because of the rhyming. Overall, I also enjoy the perspective on this one. This was fun to read
