I hate it when you hold her in such high regard the way your voice softens whenever you say her name it breaks my heart into countless pieces while I smile oh so fakely and pretend for just a minute, I pretend that everything's fine when I'm struggling to pick up all the tainted shards and try my best to put together whatever's left of me
