Regrets... one too many

I wrote of poetry that told about how much it hurts
how much it hurts to be set free by the one you love
yet now I find it hard to write for I'm the who let go
I'm the one who left you thinking our love was a lie

I don't know which words to express myself with
but all I know is that it hurts even more
even more than the pain you feel when I left you
because I lied to you... I loved you.. I still do...

I spoke of cruel words saying that I didn't love you
to give myself a reason for me to leave you
its even hearder to leave you rather than having you leave me
Its so easy to go back in your arms yet so hard; its hurts

You asked me what I was sorry for
I told you I didn't know
you told me you weren't sorry for loving me
"I guess that's what I'm sorry for" I said

That I'm sorry for loving you
I'm sorry that you loved me so much
I'm sorry that I had to let you go
I'm sorry for everything...

But then I lied...
I still love you...
I'll always will...

This was rather difficult to read. It brought tears to my eyes seeing the other side of something I did not expect to see. Half wishing the person on my thoughts while I read this had writen it and the other half, glad she did not. It is rather difficult that others can hurt as deep as I have. You right with increadible heart.. this is awsome...and then some!

I'm glad I do not know of what you speak. I am with a lovely woman in whom I wish to spend the rest of my life with. However, I have in past hurt as such. I know the heart-ache that tears you from sleep and confuses all the senses. It opens your mind to all thoughts and closes the mind to truth. Ahh, I know it well...I wish you the best...very awesome write indeed....
