take this cup from me I do not want it anymore I have given all there is to give needing little in return time has passed me by loves walked in and walked away hearts left to mend without souls to guide them home loving has been so hard you give yet take away leaving a need for lasting arms that never goes away someone to touch and care for truth and peace within myself take me while I am falling let me land in pain no more asked for my heart I gave it freely to far now I grasp to hold on with not a should to understand hope seems to fade with every passing hour all I do is struggle to keep what I need to hold I am but a man weak in my stance strengths robbed by pain feeling the fight drain away

NeverMore, you write in a way that I dont comprehend, and I dont understand. I am not saying that is a bad thing, I just have to try to understand your style of writing. It is unique, which is good. I can feel your sadness in this poem though. Hopefully some day I will grasp your meanings.

My dear Angel *S* If you can feel the sadness in the works that are meant to be sad, then you understand more then you know. For me, it is not the understanding the situation behind the words, but the transfer of feelings that is important. Though please, do keep trying to understand them *S* I enjoy your comments no matter what they are. And if I can answer a question my words bring out, I shall do so happily
