Alone in the world,
No one to turn to…
Dreaming to be someone,
But if you fail,
Where do you turn?
Where do you go?
Success is what?
It is full of power,
Not morals, not character,
Not those you loved or brought up,
Not who you are.
Trapped in a world
Full of money and possessions.
Lusting at things and people
That you know you can never have.
Always being rejected,
Facing failures
Wanting more and more,
With the human nature of selfishness.
All because of that feeling of emptiness
That people think that they can
But never will fill.
They try material, people, putting on masks,
In their effort to change themselves,
The ones they hate so dearly
But none of it works and you are back
Where you started in the first place.
