See that girl? Always sits alone Hides amongst the normal girls Blends well with that smile A smile so fake it sickens her inside
See her eyes? Notice their shine They won’t twinkle like they should He saw to that with his brutality His betrayal and shattered promises
See her clothes? Gaze beneath them Her shell now broken she leaks Those scars that he inspired Always tempting fate
See her friend? She reaches out Craves to be welcomed in Let me help you let me hold you Please don’t shut me out
See this heart? It’s not so cold Be part of it with me there’s room for two Let me light the way Let me share the burden I am that girl too

i love this piece...the way you started each stanza was wonderful in its uniformity and i loved the last line...great way to finish it...good job!
