The wind blows light when a night is quiet the sky is dark no moon in sight there is no sound the streets all deserted a pin could drop no one would hear

another good piece...this one i think might fit better in the short forum cuz it doesn't seem so depressing to me also, a gentle reminder to limit urself to 3 poems in each forum per day, so others don't get bumped off the page...thanks

Sorry, I do get carried away at times *S*
as for the depression behind this peice, I can see where some will not see what the lonely feeling was behind this. It still depresses me when I read it as I remember all to well. I think it is one of those that it is how the reader feels when they read it. No one can feel the same as another I believe *S*

i can see the loneliness in it, and the "no one would hear" line does convey that well, but for me a dark street is peaceful place for thinking, which does prove that its totally true that poetry can be interpreted broadly since we all feel different! that's what i love about it!
