I'm drenched by the rain
As I'm flooded with pain
My face is soaked and wet
My hair is a mess
And so is my life
So full of strife
And a heart filled with hurt
As I scream back at thunder
Rain splashes all in my face
So cold and so uncaring
It slaps my cheeks so hard
And soaks my clothes
Mixing with my tears
The rain reminds me of fears
I slip and I fall
Face first in the mud
Everyone laughs
At my pitiful expense
I'm drowned in sorrow
And sick humiliation
Covered in shame
Drenched by the rain
