Treasure my heart, my love For it bleeds in hours While you sleep and I watch To touch your face with my breath Calm as a baby - you sleep undisturbed My thoughts run like a girl through woods... Or baying at the moon, a silent wolft trapped within her own making To touch you with soft passion Soft as a butterfly, to not wake - "the sleeping prince" You turn and reach for me Like a child for his mother Stroke for stoke - your lover I kiss you into awakening Your eyes flutter, you see my face I smile, my thoughts a secret, as my soul quietly dies I sleep into a dream of nightmares and watch My keeper, your private prisoner-Tania Walsh- Critique and rate me
