But no sounds can be made,
No matter how hard you try.

Have you ever wished,
Just maybe, just for once,
Your life would make,
Just a little bit of sense?

Have you ever felt so bad,
And didn’t know exactly why?
Tried to ignore your feelings?
Find a place for them to hide?

Till one day,
You can handle it no more.
And all you really want,
Is the key to unlock this door.

To let out all the pain,
No longer feel so bad.
To smile a real smile,
And for once feel glad.

Be happy to be living,
Feel you have a purpose on this Earth.
See what other people see in you,
Believe that you have worth.

I know I feel this way.
I’m full of pain inside.
And I know that all I want,
Is to feel a sense of pride.
