Cool stones pierce my warm skin
*spaghetti straps in spring…*
A wonderful mix!
The world smells fresh,
Like fabric softener and babies breath.
The dark skies are beginning to untie
Revealing darker clouds.
Oh how I love spring storms!
Their water flows over me
Like a waterfall of honey
Falling around my ankles
And running away with my mind.
The world tastes like frozen blueberries
With milk sticking to the tops.
My how things will change!
It was just yesterday
That I was touching snow capped mountains
From my bedroom window.
It felt like only moments
Until they were gone
Leaving green meadows
And crystal lakes in the wake of the season.
Change is much embraced.
