Hope
I have this small fire in my heart,
But it is being smothered,
By everyone, even me,
I am never going to make it…
Yet the unknown future, the twinkle
Of the light keeps me going…
That hope for a better tomorrow…
The hope I overcome my mass of failures
Right now, I have done nothing…
They say if you are not social,
Well, you must be studious…
Accomplishments? Hah! What have I done?
Anything to satisfy you?
Do I live to satisfy you?
This huge boulder of expectations
That I must carry is weighing me down,
I am tripping, I am falling down to the ground...
Well f*ck you, f*ck me
I guess I can’t do anything right,
But there is still hope…
So young, so much time left,
So much time for change,
Always hoping to have
This myth we call happiness…
Why do I take this?
Only for the hope, for my family, for the future,
No one else, nothing more,
To everyone else I am just another
Worthless nobody… Without me, the world be no different…
I would be happier taken away, completely away,
But, perhaps, maybe, in the corner of my mind,
Maybe that all this change,
I don’t know... Hell, what did I ever know?

First.. I really like the way you got your feelings accross in this one, great job. Second,

when the darkest of times hit
the lights are all but gone
when the cold sets in
your heart feels like ice
the tiniest little spark
will sit in a corner
give it a little fuel
you will start a firestorm of hope


I have been there a time or two, where I thought all hope was gone. I can even say I was ready to give up completely. I think I even did give up at one point and something brought me back. Give that spark a chance and run with it.. you will be glad you did ...
