Do you ever sit and wonder
if this thing we call love
is truely worth the pain
is even worth the passion
does anything phase you
hit you deep in the night
make you wish it would change
make you want it all today
would you ever sit alone in the dark
cry a tear for who you love
wishing for their arms
yet freezing in the aloneness
nights go by so slow
the days filled with desire
needing arms of faithfulness
wrapped around your heart
time is like a river
the rapids engulf your heart
days hours months and years
all mesh like darkness falling
to sit and wonder if you know
the ache that travels deep
the need for your touch
out weighing life itself
empty times fill the thoughts
dreams sit idle on the shelf
the candle burns through the night
slowly melting down
in the dark the void has need
to end what it is
A looking Glass

A long stand alone
a look in the mirror
I wonder who this is I see
this man with dreams half dreamed
Who is this stranger
looking in my eyes
broken torn shattered
then peiced carefully back together
can anyone even see the cracks
still letteing life leak out
the fragile thing that stands tonight
looking back at my face
sharp edges still stick out
will they cut when they are touched
or will a real heart
be able to mend them one last time
this looking glass staring back
is crushing me tonight

i'm never sure if people are going to know what i mean by that...pain is so beautiful in its own way...its not like i enjoy pain or seeing others in pain ...its just the art and words that come from it that touch a piece of you that just blossoms with hope of something bettter to come...
