As I lay in wonder, darkness falls upon me slowly The decaying moon rises as the the sun dies down into it's watery grave. Shades of pink and purple fade as the black sky flies over with her glittering cape I'm expecting sharp pain to rush throughout my body... Working from inside, scratching out Expecting my neverending madness to continue on My mind no longer twisting and turning No longer a ticking time bomb waiting to explode... So peaceful I should feel sick to my stomach, but there aren't any knots to untie Only fluttering butterflies, softly tickling my insides I look into the mirror, I can barely make out the reflection But there's more than what meets the eye I swear I'm smiling So content...complete
