Ok, so there is a story behind this one...I belong to another set of boards, that has nothing to do with poetry, so anyway, we were challenged to write a rap that ends with "fo' I kill you in the face" so here is my rap...p.s. rapping is hard...

A Rap by Me

Yo, yo i'm not kiddin'
i'm just a kid who's livin'
life's pace is tense
trying to break down the fence

no room to breathe or grow
and another thing you must know
my words are for the free
for you, you and me

don't take another chance
there's no time for another glance
cuz this world is going down
when so many wear a frown

peace is a dream we can't grasp
as it all ends with a gasp
so do something about it fool
life's one messed up gene pool

lazing around gets nothing done
quit spending your days having too much fun
put this world back in its place
fo' i kill you in da face

thanks guys...i can't believe it turned out the way it did..i was surprised by it, because i'm so white its not funny...my friends ever heard my saying this rap they'd be like go back to the trailer girl!

ok...i'll explain the kill you in da face thing...there is an online comic, called whatever, written by eliot lucas, who happens to go to NSU, where I go to school...he wrote a story line about this kid who is wrappin and ends with "fo' i kill you in the face" so...on the message boards that are connected to that comic you were challeneged to write a rap that ended with the line "fo' i kill you in the face" so that's it, that's why it's there...thanks for the comments guys!
