Toe Jam
Gazing at my painted toes Two sets of five all neat in rows two are big and two are small Alas! They shall not grow so tall In wooly socks my feet shall lie And many shoes shall pass them by Some with buckles or with laces Tokens of those dirty places In sandals they can waggle free And shine away for all to see But all this walking makes them tired A rest is due; a bath required One by one my socks are off And then a smell to make you cough "poor toes" I cry "all red and sore Standing on this icy floor" Then I spot it with my eyes That really takes me by surprise There had grown a kind of lump A smelly cheesy fluffy clump "Eurghhh" I yell "what right have you?" "To grow inside this average shoe" "be gone I say. Remove yourself" "You danger to a young girls health!" With one sharp flick it flew away between my toes it could not stay I wont forget Im sure to say The day that Toe jam came to play
