Each of my rhymes
Are reflections of my life
Not promotions for crime
Why would I waste my time
Telling you to kill your foes
Telling you to sell your souls
To ruin your lives
Beat and cheat on your wives
Cut your kids' throats with knives
NO! I have never told anyone to do that
To think I want you to do that is sad
So why is it when tragedy strikes
Everyone looks at Fox and his rhymes
If I talk about sex
If I can't stand my ex
I'm not promoting rape
Of any form or shape
I'm venting emotions
Through art in motion
Music and poetry can alter the mind
But it doesn't load guns and sharpen knives
And it can't turn a virgin into a whore
These lifestyles can't be explored
With the mind, but only in real life
That's what I write about every time
I pick up a pen to unload myself
To blast away every single shell
Left in my mind and my heart and soul
Anger, love, hate, and lust may take their toll
On your mood but you're still you
Then why do I get blamed and get sued
When some punk reads my words wrong
When they do something crazy because of one of my songs
Take this message to heart and to your mind
The next time you decide to read one of my rhymes
