Disenchanting enlightenment is contained in an afterthought. Diluting past epiphanies, to philosophies of nought.
Astounding flounders poetically, lost rhythms rhymes leading me. To an obscure destiny, As my place in life is sought.
The inner fire is jaded. The core of life has faded.

The ending may have been abrupt but i feel that expresses more and adds a nice contrast to what the actual line says "The core of life has faded."
