.....What it's like to be alone.....
I walked through the halls of my hollow place. Scared to turn around and face. The empties of my darkened space. I miss the warmth of your embrace.
I miss your hand to hold at night. These fears alone I must now fight. You are gone and I am here. Now alone to wipe my tears.
Wishing for what cannot be. Reaching for times gone from me. Watching life past pass me by. Once again I start to cry.
Watching while you walk away. I beg you to please stop and stay. But you just turn and walk away. As if I didn't matter anyway.
Now, standing in this empty home. I know ........What It's Like To Be Alone.........

so sad... so nice... When a love one leaves you even though you've tried your best to make them stay... The feeling is truly awful... but you know, its really hard to walk away too... for me, walkin away is more painful than bein the one to be left behind...

Is it but not, a common ending in this day of age? This gets the emotions out clear and strong, beautifully yet sadly written, I love the format here-as well as the story...

what a sad read, i can only imagine how you felt writing it, feeding the emotion just enough to let your muse work it...
you are not alone. i'm always in the wings, as a mate.
