It hurts, doesn't it
When someone breaks your heart
When someone you looked up to
Falls completely apart
It pains, does it not
To hear yourself lie
To tell yourself you've stopped caring
To let your affections die
It makes you sad, I know
To hear that voice
To see that face
Again and again and again...

Avatre, it's good to have you back with us again. This piece is very good and I can personally identify with many of the words to this poem. You wrote it eloquently and it makes perfect sense, unfortunately for the heart though, keep up the great work!

Excellent flow and wording... Your words bleed with emotion we've all seen, felt, heard and know. Beautifully rendered and nicely structured.
I completely agree with The Prince of Black Hearts and BloodRedTears.
